Youth Campaigner SPAB & Climate Change
Plan Indonesia together with 10 communities in DIY are conducting Satuan Pendidikan Aman Bencana (SPAB) and Climate Change campaigns, where the target of this campaign is young people. Yogyakarta is the first SPAB province model in Indonesia, which will later continue in Bali. The 10 communities and their activists who participate are referred to as Youth Campaigner.

Youth Researcher YAS Project 2023
YAS (Youth Activist Series) aims to empower young people to drive real change for gender equality that is led and voiced directly by young people. This project was organized by Plan International Australia in collaboration with Plan International Nepal and Plan International Indonesia. In this year's YAS training, the theme to be discussed is related to climate justice.
- Engage in online discussions and workshops with youth from Plan Australia and Plan Nepal
- Conducted a systematic 5-month research initiative with Plan Indonesia, Plan Australia, and Plan Nepal focusing on climate justice, gender justice, and climate education
- Launched online campaigns to disseminate public and youth understanding of the climate crisis and its impacts
- Produced a research paper titled 'For Our Future' addressing the climate crisis and its effects on education and gender. This research will later be distributed to youth worldwide.
